YONAI Fused Aluminate Magnesium Spinel (YAMF) is produced by melting high purity alumina and magnesia together, in the proper ratios, in electric arc furnaces. The resulting fused spinel has very large crystals and exhibits excellent corrosion resistance to molten metals and slag, thermal shock resistance, and good hot strength.
YAMF is highly recommended for developing high purity refractories in both monolithic and brick form for the proof of EAF, oxygen furnace, steel ladle, intermediate zone of cement rotary kiln etc.
